As the final week of 2016 classes draws to a close, we look ahead to the exciting venture that is about to unfold in our whole school upgrade. All students will commence their 2017 subjects on Tuesday 29 November, and will continue through until Wednesday 14 December – a total of 12 school days. Students will need basic stationery items for their classes.
On Wednesday 14 December, students will have their final classes for the year, and the day will conclude with the Presentation ceremony.
Booklists are due to be returned to the General Office by Friday 2 December.
Start of 2017 arrangements for students
On Tuesday 31 January all students are required to attend a start of year conference with their Group Mentor. It is expected that one, or both, parents or carers will attend the conference with the student.
Appointments will be available at 20-minute intervals, and can be booked at the General Office. When booking, you will need to state the student’s name and the name of their Mentor Group – for example, Glenfyne group 5 is called G5. The Mentor group is listed on your child’s Compass profile page.
Tuesday 31 January is also book collection day at school for those who arrange it as part of the booklist process, so please give some thought to the time you will need for book collection and Mentor conferences.
