Ashley Ovens Attended Cobden Technical School from 2008 till 2013 In 2016 Ash completed his degree in Exercise & Sports Science at Deakin University. In 2017 he completed his Bachelor of Science (Degree with Honours) at Melbourne University & St Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research. In 2018 he began his PhD at St Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research with a three year scholarship from ACU University which should hopefully enable him to complete this by the end of 2020. His thesis is called "Structural and Functional Characterisation of the AMP-Activated Protein Kinase (AMPK) y2 and y3 Subunit Isoforms".
