Sport

At Cobden Technical School we are very spoilt for choices when it comes to sport. We offer a very diverse range of sports which caters for all types of athletes. 

Annually we hold:

• Swimming sports
• Athletic sports (Track and Field)
• Cross country

Winners of these sports then represent our school at the Hampden region against Timboon/Terang/Camperdown/Mercy College.  We have students continue on to the HSSSD Sports and the HSSSD Swimming Sports:

If successful at the Hampden level they will represent Cobden Tech at the Greater Western Region level and then finally at State Level School Sport Victoria. 

Hampden Level also offers Interschool sports:

• Football (Boys & Girls)
• Netball (Boys & Girls)
• Basketball
• Cricket
• Summer sports (golf/bowls/tennis/table tennis/soccer/girls-football/volleyball/softball/squash)

We also offer students the opportunity to compete in:

• Clay target shooting
• Equestrian
